sentinel whimsical
A scented sentinel, one genius nose conducts,
Oceanic breadths, aroma entwines still morning airs.
A companion of, for example me, of nose bereft, so silent said scentor,
Lost in the midlands of olfactory affairs.
Struggling to capture the fragrances days have teased.
Yet such oceanic comprehension, nasal genius reveals,
Aromatic waves sip on in sensory revels.
Bereft companion, adrift on scentless sea, they say
Grasping for essence as aromas slip away.
That mug, the vessel of their shared daily ritual,
Though merely a morning's brew - of elixir-sent oddities -
Scent Genius sips, deciphering strange souls,
As Bereft sips too, too simpler a melody,
The liquid warmth nonetheless consoles.
